The College of Visual and Performing Arts and Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life presents
“Urban Revitalization: Transformations through Art and Design” on Friday and Saturday October 28th and 29th.
The conference will begin on, Friday, October 28th at 5:00pm with a lecture and Q&A by keynote speaker Dr. Kyung-Won Chung, deputy mayor and Chief Design Officer of Seoul, South Korea, INDEX Award Winner of 2011 and industrial design professor at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Dr. Chung will present his work on various design projects in Seoul. The lecture and presentation will demonstrate urban revitalization possibilities with the implementation of good design into the city's policy and infrastructure.
